Nominations for Excellence in Agroforestry!
The biennial AFTA awards recognize members and practitioners for their outstanding achievements in agroforestry. These awards enhance future programs and support continued interest in agroforestry research, adoption, and education. The AFTA Board of Directors offers four awards, granted every two years. The upcoming 2025 awards recognition will be at the North American Agroforestry conference (NAAC) at the University of Missouri from July 23-25. Awards can be self-nominated or submitted by another. All nominees must be dues paying AFTA members. The following award categories are available for nomination:
Outreach and Education Award (AFTA members only)
Research Award (AFTA members only)
Early Career Award (AFTA members only)
Practitioner or Producer Award (AFTA member or non-AFTA member/organization)
Visit the conference website for more information including award descriptions, 2025 AFTA nomination form, and past award recipients. The deadline for nominations is May 30th.
